CHOOSING A DELIVERY DATE: If you are ordering for a gift or special occasion we advise you to always allow an extra day in case of any unforeseen courier delays.
DISPATCH AND PACKAGING
Having placed your order you will receive an email from us confirming the details. We will then notify you by email when we have dispatched your order and you will also receive an email from APC courier if you have included the email address of the recipient . All cheese parcels are dispatched with an ice pack to ensure it remains cold during transit. . The ice packs may be re-frozen and used again.
DELIVERY
Please ensure you are available to take delivery of your cheese on the date chosen at checkout or request a designated safe place to store the parcel. Delivery will usually take place during normal business hours on the arranged date. Cheese is a perishable item and our packaging will keep it fresh during overnight transit however if it cannot be delivered on the arranged date we cannot assure its quality.
Please note that once your parcel has been delivered to the address provided and confirmation of delivery has been made (including delivery photos or GPS confirmation where applicable), responsibility for the parcel passes to the recipient. If you have requested that your order be left in a safe place or with a neighbour, this is done at your own risk. We cannot accept liability for any loss, theft, or damage to parcels after delivery has been confirmed. If you are concerned about the safety of your delivery location, we recommend selecting a secure delivery option or ensuring someone is available to receive the parcel in person.
USE BY DATES– Our cheeses are cut fresh to order, once cut we put 10 day use by date.. Certain cheeses will last longer than this advised date depending on your refrigeration temperatures. We always advise eating your cheese as fresh as possible. Each item will have an individual best-before date on the label when it arrives, waxed and sealed cheeses will keep much longer than hand cuts. Cheese is a fresh, perishable item and should be eaten and enjoyed as close to delivery as possible.
STORING YOUR CHEESE
On receipt, please unpack your cheese immediately and store it in a cool place, ideally a refrigerator. However, remember to take out your cheese a couple of hours before serving and allow it to warm to room temperature.
